Christmas Bird Count

The annual Christmas Bird Count for the Birchwood Circle will take place on Sunday, December 18. 

The count, conducted by the National Audubon Society, is the longest running citizen science program in the world and will be conducted for the second consecutive year in the Birchwood Circle by the Friends of Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary. 

The Birchwood Circle is a 15-mile diameter survey area located in the area of Long Lake, Sarona, Birchwood, and Stone Lake and includes the 600 acre Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary.
