Thursday, January 9, 2019 - A cold case dating back to the early-1980s is a little closer to being solved.  Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says human remains found in a wooded area North of Ridgeland in 1982 have been identified as those of Kraig King from White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Investigators believe King was murdered between April and May in 1982. Anyone with information on this case is advised to call the Barron County Sheriff's Department.  Sheriff Fitzgerald says the case involving bones found in December 2017 south of Barron are probably not connected with the King case.
