Fishing Opener 4 Weeks Away

With the Wisconsin fishing opener just 4 weeks away, those hoping to snag a trophy walleye can take a class and learn Walleye Fishing Techniques. 
 
The 3-part series will be offered on Thursdays, April 25 thru May 9 from 6-8 PM at UW-Eau Claire -- Barron County in Rice Lake. 
 
These classroom discussions taught by professional walleye anglers Bert Richard and Jeff Bilodeau, will include identification of walleye lakes, DNR rules and regulations, equipment, baits, locators, seasonal trends and tactics, and a focus group featuring some of the best walleye anglers in northern Wisconsin. 
 
]Course cost is $49 and includes materials for making a walleye rig.
