Thursday February 13, 2020 - K-9 Koda helps apprehend suspects while assisting on a search warrant. On Wednesday at approximately 9:30am, the Barron County Sheriff’s Department served an arrest warrant for 57 year old Dale Nedland in the Village of Dallas. When deputies arrived on the scene they requested everyone to exit the house or the K-9 would be sent in. When no one responded after several more requests K-9 Koda was sent in to clear the residence. K-9 Koda located and apprehended 42 year old Kelly Sandell of Dallas hiding in the upstairs of the house. Sandell was treated at a local hospital for her injuries and was transported to jail on obstructing charges. Dale Nedland was located hiding in the basement and surrendered to law enforcement without further incident. Nedland is being held in the Barron County Jail on a probation warrant and methamphetamine charges.
