A Rice Lake Police Officer has been named Investigator of the Year for her work on internet crimes against children.  Officer Heather Wolfe received the award earlier this week from the Wisconsin Department of Justice in Madison.  Officer Wolfe has been responsible for several internet sting arrests posing online as a teenage girl and setting up meetings with adult males responding to online ads.    Her arrests and convictions have included an off-duty law enforcement officer from Minnesota, an off-duty paramedic and a hall of fame tennis coach. Officer Wolfe has been an active member of the Rice Lake Police Department since 2013.
