Wednesday February 17th, 2021 - The only state wide
race in Tuesday's Spring Primary Election was for State Superintendent of
Public Instruction. In the City of Rice Lake, Jill Underly was the runaway
winner pulling in 109 votes. Deborah Kerr edged Shelia Briggs 63-56 for the
second spot in the April election. Statewide, the gap between number two and
three was more pronounced. Underly pulled in 27.3% of the vote. Kerr claimed
26.5%. Well ahead of Briggs in third place with 15.6%. Underly and Kerr will
square off for the State Superintendent of Public Instruction on April 6th. |
