With less than one month until election day, Gov. Scott Walker has inched ahead of challenger Tony Evers in the latest Marquette Law School Poll.

In the poll, Walker has 47 percent of support, just one point ahead of Evers’ 46 percent.

In the September poll, Evers had a 5-point lead over Walker.

Those numbers are all among likely voters.

It’s better news for the Democrats in the race for U.S. Senate, however.

Incumbent Senator Tammy Baldwin has a 10-point lead over Republican challenger Leah Vukmir (53%-43%).

Baldwin had an 11 point lead in the September poll.
