Yesterday's Storm Bringing Today's Back Aches

Snowfall amounts from 4 to  9 inches fell during yesterdays storm, keeping plow crews busy and making travel difficult.

The blustery winds led to near whiteout conditions in some areas along with drifting snow.

As the region digs out from yesterdays storm, health officials warn that cold temperatures and sub-zero wind chills make outdoor work even more strenuous, and want everybody to be careful not to over=exert themselves.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and reduce speeds on snow covered roadways, and to check 511wi.gov or call 5-1-1 for current road conditions.
